Micky was going to have to get a smaller dummy, if his ventriliquist act was going to work.

GAVIN BEATS MIKE IN MICKY MOUSE CONTEST
Alan wins the Low Score Competition in style.

A solid round from Gavin saw him lead from start to finish. A great start saw him cover six holes in four under handicap, putting him five shots clear of the field. He blobbed on the seventh, after Mike knocked in a 48 foot put and a great chip to give him a couple of pars and put him in contention. After a sand shot put him out of bounds on the par three 11th it looked like Mike wad shot his bolt, but he was steady to the end where Gavin blobbed to make it a one-point gap at the finish.

Alan scored five sparkling pars,but none so gleaming as the 12th. This was his only remaining hole in the Low Score Competition which he won with ease. His job done, he eased off and finished with a few blobs. Tony made a galant attempt to recover from a poor start, but he too succumbed to a poor finish. After a few weeks of great golf, Geoff had a Donald Duck round and was never in it.
