evening, the Baxter boys enjoyed a night at the opera

- It looked like a tight game in the early stages, but then,
one by one, players started to fall apart. First Geoff with an
terrible ten on five. Then Mike struggled to better double bogie
after a good three-pointer on four. Tony's par on eleven was
a brief moment of satisfaction amongst a spate of sevens and
eights around the turn.
- Gavin continued to play steady and was ahead of handicap
up until the par five fifteenth where everyone imploded. In spite
of Geoff's eleven and a finishing par three eight, he was the
best of a bad bunch and finished runner-up to Gavin's 37 pointer
a mere eleven points behind!
