DAVE CELEBRATES IN STYLE
Alan's birthday spoiled by Dave's three-par finish
Dave demonstrates new 'clean living' lifestyle drink
as he celebrates a Sensational Summer of Golf.
Alan was the birthday boy and Dave was determined to allow him a few moments in the sun, before blizing the field and capping his Summer Stableford win with the July monthly medal. A mere four stableford points over the first three set Alan on his way to a solid lead. A birthday medal was glinting in his eye as he enjoyed a two point lead on the field after six holes.
The lead was cut to zilch, as Dave parred the seventh. A poor eighth, as Dave notched up another par meant that he'd slipped to two shots back with one to go.
Two big woods from Dave gave him a birdie opportunity on the last. Letting a put go by, he settled for par and a three shot victory.
Both Dave and Mike caught Alan up on the low score contest, but he held on through countback.
With Dave regularly whipping out his 'big dog' and letting it rip, the Baxter boys now have to go away and figure out how to challenge him over the Autumn months. The shadow of Tiger Woods may have cast a big cloud over the world of professional golf, but Perivale is still in total eclipse!
