DAVE SHOWS HIS AUTHORITY
SUMMER STABLEFORD ALMOST IN THE BAG, AS DAVE SLAUGHTERS THE FIELD
Dave has them rocking in the aisles at the PRS golf do last week.
Dynamic Dave is on a roll! And when this man is rolling there is no stopping him. Fresh from his trophy winning performance at last week's Performing Rights Society Golf Bingo, he had to withstand the charge of Six-iron Stevie whose 22 pointer set him up for an end of term shoot-out!
With the Baxter boys struggling to find form, it was Dave and Geoff after three, the only ones to be holding par. Suddenly, Geoff was bouncing off trees, as Dave shot par to bounce into a clear lead. Four points ahead of the pack and the game was up.
Three fives and a six on the three-par fifth made Dave's four look good and a measley one point on six did him no harm.
Con had his second double-figure start in a row, but managed to claw back a few shots at the end. No such luck for Geoff and Mike, who scrambled to their worst scores of the Summer.
Steve improved his second-place standing with 15 points, but it was Dave, all the way to the tape with a superb 43 and 21 points.
The low-score came alive though. Mike and Alan now lead with one shot as Dave and Con manouvered themselves ready for an end of season thriller.
