- Poor turnout - high winds and
deep puddles contribute to high scores.

- The curse of the ninth struck again, as
Geoff surrendered a three stroke lead, to hand Mike his first
Medal with a paltry 38.
- An air shot on the first tee left Mike
struggling, as Geoff blasted off with a great par.
- Three triple bogies later and Geoff was
behind Mike and Alan, as Steve's nine on the third put him out
of contention.
- Suddenly Geoff came good with some great
chipping and putting. Three pars in the bag and victory was in
sight. However, as he hacked his way along the ninth, Mike saw
his chance and sneaked it with a solid six.
