Another great tournament, as Tom is flanked by the bruvs in a thrilling race to the tape. Anyone's game up to eight, with Al leading by one, byu virtue of his three pars. A third par for Tom on nine and Geoff stumbles. It's all square at the turn. Alan appears to be taking control, as Tom falters, but then three pars in a row and Tom is back in the lead. However, the seventeenth takes its toll yet again and Tom has to win the last to take the medal. With a final blob, it's Alan yet again, with another great score.
Geoff was early into the lead against Con and by the sixth, he had a four point lead in the bag. Once again, the Conmeister showed that "It ain't over till it's over!" He fought back to level with two to go. However, it was a great pressure put for par that won it for Geoff. Con is now only two points behind Tom in the Matchplay, but with two games in hand, it's going to be a great showdown at the finish.
