CON DISHES UP A TASTY TREAT FOR THE BOYS

After a long absence, the Maestro returned to Ruislip and proved to be in sizzling form. Seven pars and a three-way matchplay drubbing for Dave, Gavin and Tony cooked up a delectable 40 point feast for the Golfing Chef of Muswell Hill.

At first, it looked like Tony was the threat, as he took an early lead, but it was Con who recovered from a nervous start to fire a string of pars and bogies to take the newly instituted Frank Bruno H.P. sauce trophy. As he fought his way through the adoring crowds and eager press pack, he was heard to mutter "No H.P. No comment!"
