"HERE, TAKE IT! I'VE GOT FORT BAXTER ON SATURDAY"
Con has divided loyalties, as he hands over the Ryder Cup
Five pars over the first eight holes and Con was way in the lead on Saturday. Four up `gainst Geoff and six against Dave, he turned in a staggering 39 strokes. A double bogie on the par-three 11th was put behind him, as he scored back-to-back pars with two to go. Yet another week saw the boys stumble on the last. Con scored a blob to ruin his blobless run, whilst Mike and Dave battled it out on a last-hole thriller. Dave was lucky to tie the hole with his eight, but lost by one. In the meantime, Gavin was back on form with a great blobless round and a cool 37 points. Tony and Russell, also have good runs going, as they go into next week's matches. With Alan and Geoff out for the last two weeks of the season, there is a fantastic battle for places going on. Al leads the Low Score, but there are six players within three shots of him. Russell looks good for the Stableford, but five others are battling out for second.
