GEOFF GOES STRAIGHT!
Without his brother to hold him back, Geoff found that he became a bit of a babe-magnet
Solid form from Geoff, featuring two pars and a birdie, ensured that he easily held off Mike whose five pars were not enough to take the overall game. Geoff had a comfortable win over Tony, but the other two games were last-hole thrillers. Gavin needed to win the last to froce a draw, but his five ensuered that Al tightened his grip at the top of the league. Mike and Dave were neck and neck over the first half, but Mike's win on the tenth with a nine set him on course for a three hole lead. He faltered over the last few holes allowing Dave to have a chance of a win on thelast. Unfortunately it was the second eight in a row for Dave and an outsider's challenge for Mike. WIth only three weeks left in the league, there are still five challengers in with a shout. Only Alan, can afford a slip up this week, when all should become very clear!
