DAVE FINDS HIS FORM
Five pars help Dave to establish this season's best score, as Mike & Alan battle it out in epic match.
Dave calls the shots down at the Purple Pussy Cat. " Give me three and make 'em big!"

With the season in full swing and the matchplay up and running, it was another exciting day at Ruislip. alan and Mike were battling it out in their match and tying for the lead after eight. Geoff was looking comfortable against Tom and was also commanding his share of the lead. Dave was starting to put Tony under pressure. Around the turn, things started to happen. Mike had a disaster on nine and Geoff started to wilt against Tom. Alan was now inthe lead, but Dave was looking dangerous, as Tony started to collapse.

Geoff lost four holes in a row and, by the 16th had lost to Tom. Mike fell three behind Alan, but put up a good fight to square it with three to go. Alan then took the 15th and, after a lucky brush with the ditch, parred the next for a two-up win. However, with Tony going down by the 14th, Dave had no pressure on the way home and won the day by three points.
