Mike gets another drubbing from the man on form
Dave becomes a gay icon, after his Valentine Day exploits

It really was a Valentine Day Massacre over at Ruislip on Saturday, as Dave slaughtered the field. Mike was the only one to put up any resistance, but even a season's best could not help him avoid a five and three matchplay defeat. Everyone suffered on the first hole, with only Con managing to score a point. However, a brilliant birdie on three put Dave in the lead, where he remained until the end. Another six pars followed and only a stumble on 15 and 17 prevented him from chalking up a record score. His 39 pointer ensured his lead at the top of the table and a handicap cut of 0.9 strokes. Mike recovered from a disastrous start to claw hihs way back ahead of handicap, but he too stumbled towards the end, slumping to 32 points. The rest of the field could only muster 4 pars between them and they staggered home way back, with Con's 26 pointer being the best of a bad bunch. Gavin took home the consolation of another matchplay win, as he beat Tony by one.
