TOM DOES IT AGAIN
A poor start then Tom goes into action with five pars to win February medal
Tom examines Mike's foot, which has swollen to gigantic Proportions.

The second monthly medal of 2004 and it's another win for Tom. Struggling at the start, as Mike looked like a real contender. A third of the round gone and Mike had bagged four three pointers and 15 points to lead his match by four. However, tony had gone a point ahead at this stage and it was shaping up for a ding-dong battle.

However Gavin was starting to show some good form in the middle stretch and, spurred on by a tight game from Dave, he managed to ease into the lead. Mike and Tony started to fade, as the rest of the pack caught up. Tom took six holes in a row off Mike and held his lead with two fantastic putts on 14 and 15. His five-par performance made him easy winner by three and the overall February champion.

A turning point for Mike was the tenth, where he got in front of an errant ball from Dave. Luckily, the ball did not leave the ground and managed to hit a soft part of Mike's anatomy, but the bruise on his foot gave a chiolling reminder of what could happen, if one wandered ahead of play!

Con managed to beat Geoff by two and then pop in a birdie to finish, whilst Gavin and Dave finished all square.
