The Walrus of Love contemplates some Friday night abstinence, before a gruelling morning at Ruislip.
TONY GETS ALL LURVED UP FOR THE BARRY WHITE
A blob on the first and then straight into the lead with a three pointer on two, Tony took the Stableford by the scruff of the neck and showed complete dominance with his best nine holes scoring a fantastic 28 points. A mistaken ball which he fired from the ditch on 17 gave him another blob, but his other sixteen holes yielded 40 points, enough to take charge of the Stableford. Mike looked good for second place, with three pars on the first nine.However another couple of pars on the way back did not hide the damage done by a string of blobs. Dave, on the other hand, started poorly but managed four pars in a row from 8 to 11. Twenty one points on the second half brought him a respectable 34 pointer.
