last in Xmas Trophy

- Solid play in horrifically icy conditions kept Alan ahead
of Dave in the Xmas trophy. OB on the 17th and the lead looked
shaky, as Dave saw his chance and picked up four shots. However,
Alan held his nerve to win by two. Mike's nerves, on the other
hand, were shattered as he was unable to cope with the conditions
and lost his way with a miserable 62 second half. Vowing to give
up the game, he trudged off for the more enjoyable pursuit of
last minute Xmas shopping at Brent Cross.
