THE STABLEFORD SCORING SYSTEM
(on a nine hole course: par 34 )
If your handicap is 9 . You get a shot on each hole. Your net par is 43 (34+9)
You get two points for net par. One point for net bogie. No points for any higher score. You get three points for net birdie etc.
If your handicap is 10. You get an extra shot on the hardest hole. Handicap 11: you also get an extra shot on the next hardest hole and so on.
